The Good: the granite we chose was a good value for the price we paid. The measurements and design of the granite and look were to our satisfaction. The installers were courteous and professional.
The bad/do betters: When they measured I asked about the stove top cut out, I was not aware they would do this on-site. When they did the cut out for this all our pots were in the cabinet, would have been very nice if they had given us an opportunity to take those out, this would have save us a ton of cleanup work after the install. Another issue was when they did the under mount sink was installed and cut outs for the faucet /soap dispenser were made, we noticed that we had to make cuts/modifications to our cabinet base in order to install the faucet and plumbing. I do realize this is not totally on CSD installers and maybe beyond the scope of their work; I believe this is something they should explain to the homeowner during the measuring process. Maybe provide a heads up that based on the thickness of the granite and cut out for sink this may need to be done. Even better, when they place the granite and they notice the cabinets need modified, would have been great if they told us before the sink was put in, this would had given us an option of bypassing the under mount sink install (we would have been opted to do it ourselves) rather than have it installed and cause all the extra uncomfortable work it caused after the fact. I recommend they provide a checklist of things that should be considered/done prior to install, just like were verbally told to ensure the old countertops were demoed prior to their arrival.

We were extremely pleased with the installation of our granite countertops and kitchen sink. The installers were very polite and answered all of my questions.
